I chose this image because of how well the tree made its presence known against the other trees and the background, given how it is still full of life rather than being starkly dead. In symbolizing life, it shows that there is life in and on this campus despite the cold.
Can't wait to see what you do to make the tree stand out once the color of the photo is gone!

ReplyDeleteThe contrast of the dark tree against the lightness of the campus is really neat and the windows on the building are a nice little detail that takes my eyes back to the tree. Nice subject!
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that you talk about the tree representing vitality and life amongst cold surroundings, because it is the DARKEST part of your image. That, in itself, is an interesting contrast. This has potential in black and white. I see you have already posted your five images, but I will give them a more in-depth look this weekend.
